About Gladstone 8 Ball Association Inc.

Since its creation in 1977, the Gladstone 8 Ball Association Inc. has been a proud and active part of our region’s sporting community. What began as friendly matches played in local pubs and hotels has grown into a thriving association with a dedicated home and a strong membership base.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where players of every skill level can enjoy and develop their game. We champion respect, sportsmanship, and strong community values, ensuring our club remains a place for both competitive excellence and social enjoyment.

Our Journey So Far

Our journey has been shaped by the passion and commitment of our members.

2015 – We took a major step forward by moving into the Harbour City Motel Conference Room, starting with just three tables.
April 2018 – We relocated to 36 Hanson Road, expanding to six tables and creating more opportunities for competition and social play.
11 June 2025 – We moved into our current home at Unit 3/14 Helen Street, where we now proudly operate with eight high‑quality tables.

Every move has been driven by the same goal: to provide our members with the space, facilities, and environment they deserve.

Competitions & Events

Throughout the season, teams of 4–8 players compete under International Rules across three divisions: A, B, and C Grade. We also run:

Ranking events
Club championships
Social competitions
Weekend tournaments

During the off‑season, we keep the cues chalked with popular events such as:

Memorial Crossover Teams – Wednesday nights
VP Scotch Doubles – Thursday nights
